![]() ![]() Appearing in the familiar layout of a parametric equalizer, each band also includes a full featured dynamics section allowing the processor to cover an impressively wide range of applications. And actually UWP in general even if some people think it's dead.Īlso we're seeing a move by MS to integrate Win 10 more with Samsung devices specifically, which will be good.NOVA is a parallel dynamic equalizer. So that design language will carry over I think. Just have to be patient while they move things over.Īnd having read up on MS future plans I think we might as well get used to it since future Windows versions will have a core they all build upon and then functionality is added to that core depending on device and situation. People complain about the settings window and how some things are found there yet others are in older 'looking' parts of Windows, but as far as I understand it MS is moving functionality from the old Windows into newer 'parts', or 'apps' I guess, in Win 10. ![]() And I think this new design language is making the whole Windows experience look more up to date. ![]() They're certainly not perfect, and in some cases they might be more limited, but I do prefer them in general. So mail, calendar etc has a nice sleek look and load fast. The new apps are snappy and they look nice. But maybe I'm right and it is a strange move just like keeping with that restrictive and out dated 1 dongle policy only is.įor me some of the unexplored or underappreciated items are the new apps and new design. Why would they? I assume most people who use it offline wouldn't see a need and want to risk it. Had Microsoft not dropped support next year for W7, maybe Steinberg would continue supporting it?It seems like a strange move on their part cause i assume a lot of people stayed with win 7 64x and did not upgrade to win 10. I have no hard data to support this, but I highly doubt the resources saved were spent only on salary raises, and office parties. ![]() If going W10 only.or as we now know going 64 bit only, improved and streamlined Cubase, then IMO it's worth it. Resources are limited with any developer. I'm glad they are dropping W7 support for the same reasons they are 64-bit only. So I'm doing this which isn't a solution, but in my case it helps: ![]()
